Yoga Nidra literally means "yogic sleep." It is experienced via a methodology by which the conscious mind is guided through the levels of the body, from dense to subtle, to tap into the unconscious mind. This is a gentle but powerful way for us to begin resolving the discord in our lives and live in peace. Yoga nidra is a salve to the nervous system, restoring and rejuvenating the body on multiple dimensions. The practice, from a physical perspective, involves simply lying down on the floor in a restful position.
This is a donation-based offering (suggested $5), but please register to let us know you will attend. Wear comfortable clothes and bring your yoga mat. You may want to bring your favorite pillow, so long as it is not too thick.
